I wasn't suggesting Beekissed said that. I was trying to say that the sort or tool you are looking to use is something you cannot injure the bird with even if you accidentally used more force than you intended....unlike a rake or stick. I did not mean to suggest that you hit the bird as hard as you can with it, just that if you pick up such a stick with leaves on the end and waft it around hard you will feel that it cannot cause any injury..... I was trying to use that analogy to describe the tool rather than the way to use it. I did not mean to offend or misquote anyone. I had hoped that someone might have the appropriate post by Beekissed bookmarked so that they could link it.
