Growth below eye

One of my hens has this growth that appeared over the last week under its left eye, it’s about the size of a quarter and is round with a hard crater like center. Seems to be affecting her ability to fully open her beak to drink or eat. Nothing comes out when aspirated. Ideas? Thoughts. If I can send a pix I will. Help , Mike

Pictures of the eye can be very helpful, to determine if it is an infection, a growth, or an injury.
