Growth on our chicken's beak

Hi all,
We are first-time chicken owners and one of our chicken has a growth inside her beak. It was small at the beginning and now it has grown big for the past 2 days. She is able to eat but it is difficult for her to keep the food in the beak. I have attached a pic down below. Please help!

I've never seen anything like that. It looks like it would wipe off though. Has it closed the inside of the bottle?

It is a growth. It was a small lump/wart and then now it has become this big. She doesn't seem to mind but it is difficult for her to drink water.

Welcome to the flock. That's something new to me, but it looks like a tumor. I think at trip to the vet, if you can. Especially since it is growing fast. can you open the chickens mouth and look at it. Is it attached to the tongue? Pics of the open mouth might help some one with more experience to identify it.

In my experience they have a lot of health problems. Mine have all been hatchery ones so idk about heritage breeds. I'll never get another one from a hatchery!
