Unroll it in the yard, flipp it upside down, have the kids sit on it, and bend the stubborn ends back until its at least semi-flat
Then when we actually put it up on the coop, we used a staple gun and kept it stretched tight, stapling it down about everyyyyy....2 inches maybe? It's very aggrivating stuff if you ask me.
