So, I spent two hours collecting grapes.

Another who knows how long cleaning them.

Then running them through the strainer to get the liquid.

By then the day was over so I put the juice in the fridge in the camper.

The power went out.

So close to being canned. A whole day's work lost.

Opened the container this morning and it popped. Smells like wine already.....

And before you get any ideas - no I can't make it into wine.

I'll turn it into frozen juice bars for the chickens for during the winter.

I think I would cry... seriously.

Our fridge went out yesterday... thankfully we had been out of town for a couple days and I hadn't made it to the store yet. Quite a few things lost, but stuff we could do without anyway

Last year I processed about 22 meaties and quartered them, vacuum sealed them and all. The in-laws drove up (less than a one hour drive) to spend the weekend in our yard in thier camper and my freezer got unplugged. I did cry.
