I came across this recipe on another website and gave it a try. It was really good!!!

Guacamole Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

6 hard boiled eggs, peeled and cut lengthwise
1 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 tsp minced garlic)
2 tsp finely chopped cilantro
Paprika

Instructions:

* Remove egg yolks from the halved eggs and place in a small bowl. Add the ripe avocado, lime juice, salt, onion powder, garlic and cilantro.
* Use a fork to mash the guacamole mixture until smooth.
Spoon (or use a sandwich bag with the corner cut as a frosting/piping bag) the mixture into the halved eggs. * *Sprinkle with a dash of paprika.
Keep stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days

I love all of your recipes. I follow you on the another recipe website as well. I wish I could make all of the food that you do. That's is a blessing from above. Keep up the good work. :thumbsup

You are very kind!!! That's way more praise than I deserve. I'm retired, cooking and the chickens are my hobbies so I have the time to play with recipes. My four kids who are grown and have families of their own, enjoy the eggs and the results of my playing with food and I enjoy making the special treats for them that they don't have time to make for themselves. It makes me feel useful otherwise I'd just be an old lady rattling around in this big old empty house with nothing to do.

I love putting smiles on the faces of my family when they see Grandma coming with a box full of eggs and a loaf of fresh baked bread, cookies, cakes, cinnamon rolls or whatever the mood was for the day.
