A local was selling these cute chicks and I couldn’t resist. Can anyone help identify the breed?

I'm not sure, but my best guess would be they are crosses....possibly with some Cuckoo Maran in there.

I had thought that too. It's kinda cute.
They do seem to have feathers like marans. (The one on the right, at least)
It might be easier to tell in a few weeks when they're fully feathered.

Could they be Welsummers? Mine is only a few days old, but the wing feathers coming in look really similar. And the general coloring.
