I thought it might be fun to set up a thread where people can post chicken pictures and guess the breed of other peoples'!

I for one love to guess and see other chickens. I'm not so good at guessing age though.

You're right, no.2 is a polish (with a hint of silkie ancestry)!

No.1 was kind of cheating as I didn't show size but you are almost right, it's a serama.

I love this idea! #3 is a legbar or legbar mix. And from body shape I will say the last is a BJG but maybe a BA.

Yep No.3 is a 'fenton blue' bred from the cream crested legbar! Not quite with No.4, keep guessing (clue: not a 'show standard' breed)....

Not quite- it's a laying hybrid-like breed common for eggs and in small flocks....

Ooh, not quite. Not sure if they have them so much in America and it's a laying hybrid really. It's a Black Rock!
