I’m still voting pit bull. His head and face remind me so much of my aunts red nose pit. Not hers, but what I’m talking about-

I read about a scientific study done decades ago where they crossed two purebred dogs of different breeds and then bred two of the progeny to one another. It included photographs and it was amazing to see how the puppies looked so different from the starting breeds standards and from one another. Looking at those puppies you would have never guessed that only 2 breeds made up their genetic profile. I guess because the difference between breeds is so small?
