All I can think about is how on earth that tiny man managed to mate a standard that must have been decently large enough to be called fatso.

I do give up, btw . The only 2 breeds I can think of anymore are Chantecler and Bresse, which I doubt are the match.

I just wanted to hatch my own chicks instead of buying chicks. They lay eggs like their mom. And are smaller than their mom

That's really cool! Someday I want to hatch my own chicks too, but I don't yet have the means to. Maybe this year, I will.
