Guess The Second Breed My Dog Is Mixed With

"Her favorite game is for me to stand in the middle of the floor and jump up and down while she runs in crazy circles."
And how did she explain to you how to play that game?

She is very pretty and sounds smart too!

She can talk. You dog can't?

One day, I was being silly and started trying to get her to play. I patted my legs and started talking in an excited voice. She ran in happy circles, jumped all over my couch and flipped out. She was very happy. A few days later, she pawed me and not knowing what she wanted, I repeated the game.

My dog taught me a trick. Don't worry, I get lots of kisses for being such a good learner. I am certain that she brags about her smart human to the border collie next door.

She is such a vain dog. Always insisting on putting on her makeup before I take her photo.

That's funny.

I'm always interested in how we end up doing some of the stuff we do with our critters. I love when the dogs get happy feet.

Mine have been doing it a lot lately. We are snowed in, as usual, and the dogs aren't getting as much exercise as they normally would. So now they have turned the kitchen and hallway into a racetrack.
Your girl looks a lot like a shep/lab mix that was on craigslist today.

I can see Bull Terrier and heeler maybe. But, definitely not Pit Bull (American or Staffordshire). Her head is shaped to narrow for a staffordshire and it is shaped differently than an American. Plus, she doesn't have a steep stop, so I would guess her mix would have to include a breed with a less dramatic stop (such as heeler and bull terrier). My mom has a GSD/Pit Bull mix....she looks similar to your dog in the GSD characteristics, but definitely has other features that suggest a different mix is more likely (to me anyway). I have an Australian Shepherd/Pit Bull (as does a friend...parent's were purebred and our mix dogs are siblings). The Pit bull passes on different features than what I see in your dog.

Heelers have short snouts and the shorter hair too.

Totally agree!! I knew someone who had a GSD/Bull Terrier and I swear they could be litter mates they're so alike!

75% GSD no pit or husky, maybe bull terrier. Tail rules out husky, bridge of nose no pit, more like a bull terrier. But more GSD than anything 75% or higher.
