I went to a jazz party in a friend's barn and found out the family owned two Chargers. 1967 and 1968 I believe. I even got to go for a ride in the 1968 one. It was so dark of a green, it looked black. It was freaking awesome. We saw how it shifted from first to second, then tried to time it 0 to 60. Well, I couldn't hear when he said he'd reached 60 over the noise of the engine, so he just kept going faster.
I've ridden in the old muscle cars before, but this was the first time I've ridden in one when it was used as a muscle car should be. At high speeds.
I know I want one someday. I've always loved them... Especially a 1969 mustang fastback. All I need to do now is work on my basic knowledge of the engines and find someone to work on it for me whenever I'm able to get one.
Anyone else love old cars? 1969 Camero anyone?
