Definitely not a buttercup. Buttercup chicks are much lighter. (I have a buttercup)

My guess would be either partridge rock or wyandotte?

It is an Easter Egger. I got one identical to yours for my "rare" free bird last fall. Note the willow colored legs. Mine is turning out to be a lovely roo. I too went through all the same guesses as everyone else listed here, but trust me on this one. They are cute little buggers when they are little. Here is a picture of my roo a couple of weeks ago:

I think it's either silver or gold partridge, my silver penciled Rocks that I ordered from them had that color.
