I have some friends that get some beautiful dark olive eggs from some of their chickens. Asked them if they would incubate some for me and these are the three that hatched. The pullet had green legs as a chick that have turned blue. She doesn’t have many tail feathers. The other two turned out to be roos. They are both beautiful and very different in appearance. Both are feather legged. Can anyone give me some guesses on possible mixes. My friends have no idea what kind of chickens they have. I am wondering if the barred roo might have some cuckoo maran in him.
