You may be able to easily take it off today. Looks like there might be a nice scab there.

I was thinking that what's holding it to her toe still might have dried out to, I might try pulling it off but if light pulling doesn't get it too come off I'll just cut it off which is probably the best thing to do no matter what.
Im hoping I can get it off easily and not cause more stress. I hoping after we get it off it will be less painful sooner.

Have your Mom or Dad inspect that with you to determine if you really need to cut that off.
The nail may naturally fall off on it's own in a few days.

I would use the dog nail clippers and remove the toenail. It will be initially painful, but will cause the bird less aggravation in the long run. One person to hold the bird and another to remove the toenail.

I don't have time to do anything with her nail as I'm going into town and its been raining and pretty cold. When I get back I'll update you all on how her nail is.

I think I might have to just let it come off on its own. I don't think there's enough room around her nail for me to safely and comfortably get the scissors in between her toe and her loose nail.
I'm thinking of either trying to pull it off or just let it fall off on its own.
If I choose to let it fall off on its own should I make sure to clean her toe around it before and after it comes off?
Her toe has been looking a little more swollen today I will make sure to get photos of it tomorrow as I wasn't able to get any today.
I also moved the nail a little bit after I got back. I was kind of hoping it would have just came off with no problem at all but it's still attached to her toe pretty well.

Keep checking it, if it looks like it's ready to pull off, pull it off. Then treat it at night before bed, clean it and put Neosporin on it. Ive also used emuaid with great success, it has silver in it.

Her nail is still attached but she's not limping on it as much anymore.
I think I'll just leave it be completely like I've been doing and only mess with it if I notice it's causing problems I think it'll be fine.

I'm a believer in soaking things. The warm water softens things up, making it easier to pull off or snip, the water dissolves out debris and cleans it a bit, keeps it soft enough that any starting infection gets rinsed away. Then, when you pull her out, you can dip it in sugar or honey, which will stick to a damp foot. Sweet is very hydrophylic, drawing moisture to the site, which cleans it even more and, guess what? Sugar doesn't grow mold and is a very good antibiotic, as is honey. Plus, if she eats it off, it's not toxic. I'd do it right before time to roost (or even a bit later, then place her on the roost for the night. It'll have a chance to dry thoroughly before she steps in any poop that way, then maybe even scab over to prevent mess from getting in.

After looking at it better today, I think that I should do that. I feel like I should have started doing something similar to what you suggested but I wasn't really sure about what I needed to do and didn't want to stress her out or anything.
