Even with just two guineas, they're still very noisy. As long as you live out in the country without any close neighbors then they're not that bad and you get used to it (and honestly, I enjoy listening to ours). But if you have close neighbors, expect to hear complaints because they can be loud and they sound off any time they're startled or alarmed (but that's what makes them good "watch dogs").
