Thank you, I'll try that. She never laid on a regular basis, and her eggs have always been thick shelled. But I guess if she's laying internally that doesn't matter, although it's still impossible to know what's going on for sure. How would the extra calcium help, and is there any down side? Thanks for taking the time to help.ACV is not helpful when dealing with soft shell issues as it interferes with the calcium uptake.
You can feed her dried and crushed egg shells which are more enticing than crushed oyster shells to my birds and will provide a little additional protein too.
