Hello my name is Karen and I'm new here! I am currently hatching 8 Guinea eggs as I write this.. Today is day 26 and one has internally piped thru air cell.. This is my first Guinea hatch and Im hoping for a good hatch attached pic is of Mommy Bonnie and Daddy Clyed..

So we got a new member to the guinea flock. A 6 week old keet who was orphand due to a large black snake slurping up its siblings. The women we buy our duck eggs from called us to see if we had keets and gave us hers.
We were also going to purchase her two geese for $25 then she called us back after we got home and said she wanted to sell them to someone who has a pond.
Half tempted to call her today and talk to her about them because i really want geese as a flock protector for my ducks. They will have a garden plot that is at least 30' x 25' with two pools and a coop for weather like we got yesterday.

Thanks Rhonda. I love the fact they don't try to kill eachother as keets like adults do or chickens. I cant tell you how many times I have to put a chicken in jail for bad manners.
