what'd ya do, go to bed? can't wait to find out how things went overnight. one of mine has moving all night so it must be getting into position. i candled one and it was alive. i wonder if it was the same one. i hope you have a bunch out in the morning. they are so cute.

Good morning all,
Woke up to another hatch, now there is three. It's going slow but then again we're having an early hatch too so I won't panic yet. Keep you posted through out the day. I'll get more pics of the two newest ones posted later.

Hi Kristin & Kelli, We're up to #4, it is slow but were only on day 27. All four are pieds of different colors. I suspect the closer we get to day 28 the faster they'll start hatching...then I have my second set of 14 eggs that will be remove from the turner tomorrow.

To Kristin, yes I did go to bed! I'm old and need my rest!

We had 4 more hatch within 5 minutes of each other, that make 8 now!

woohoo!!! can't wait for more pics!! i've got two moving in the eggs. i hope the other five are okay too. i think i've got three more days to day 28.

Come on babies!!! I have a duckling that is hanging out in the pip hole lol every few minutes you see it's little beak go to town. Still waiting for it too..... though day 28 for me is tomorrow.

Well we're at 17 now, one is not doing good, it stays curled up, won't open his eyes, he's kicking his legs alot but cannot hold up his head or stand, it looks to be neurological. I'd hoped that maybe he'd pass on over night but he is still hanging in there. I'll keep you posted. One egg is still pipped and the last three haven't budged. Today is day 28, I'll still wait on them.
Meanwhile, I have the second batch of 14 eggs coming off the turner today!
