and last, my sickly one...however she/he seems to be coming around, she's opened her eyes, is trying to stand up but still very wobbly, will hold her head up to look around and with my help holding her, she will drink water, a definite improvement!

Please say a little prayer for her! If she pulls through, I WILL keep her!
My DH who acts like he isn't interested and was so firm about not keeping any extras beyond the three we have now from last months hatch (and mad because he only wanted to keep 2 of those) he is the one who placed the barrier around her to protect her from the other guineas!

oh they are soooooooo cute. especially the weak one. my hubby acts like he doesn't care about the animals here either but he named a sick rabbit. i was gonna put it down and he told me to wait and see. then after she was doing better told me i should keep her inside forever. i have also caught him petting the goats and talking to them. when i told him my ginger goat lost her triplest his first question was, gingers okay though, right? haha he was actually worried. funny boys!

Kristin-
Yes, men, they're a strange breed

but ya gotta love 'em! He's been very tolerate considering all he thought we were going to do was have a "few" chicken for eggs. Definition of "few" - 6 or less!

Second set of eggs (14) + the three remaining are all together in the hatcher.

i got lucky with hubby. he said i could have as many animals as we could feed as long as he doesn't have to do anything with them. hahaha how many goats has he helped me with for shots and trimming? he even asks about my hospital, something is always in it. i knew the goats would grow on him. the chickens, not so much, but he did say my two splash cochins that recently hatched were the prettiest of all the chicks!! okay sorry i'm so off topic.

GREAT NEWS!!!! Precious is doing much better! She is actually drinking AND eating! I still have to support her by cupping my hand around her but she is getting stronger by the hour. She tries to walk but stumbles alot, she wants out of her "isolation booth" but the others run over her so after her hourly feeding/watering, I let try to run for a minute or two then she'll collapses and fall asleep so I put her back in her pen. WHEW! I'm really relieved, I think she'll make it!
