Gummy egg yolk?

Two days in a row, one of my girls is laying eggs with a thick yolk. The first time I thought I had not noticed a crack but today I am sure the egg was fine. What could be causing this gummy texture?

We have a mix of hot weather at the moment 30c plus or rain and thunderstorms.

They are about 1.5 years or younger.
