Gun Laws in YOUR State

I've lived in California, Montana, and currently in Nevada, way easy to get a concealed carry in Montana and Nevada, almost impossible in Cali. However when I clicked on the link it went to a .223 rifle, so a concealed carry permit probably won't be an issue, unless you're looking at hand guns as well?

Heck no! That's not the way a union of states works. The Bill was in there specifically for restraining the Feds. The States have their own constitutions for restraining their governments.

I have to disagree with ya Q9. The constitution limited both the fed an the states, always has.

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

If they were only regulating the fed it would have said,
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free country, the right of the states to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

The constitution has always been there to protect the people from the states an local governments too.

So yes when it comes to the Fed Constitution it does over rule all.

It looked like Matthew was saying that Federal law was utterly supreme over the states, which is what I was objecting to. I think you have a point in what you're saying, Rebel.
