Had my cousins kid come in one day an ask for "some soda".... I gave him the arm & hammer box out of the fridge. Thats what soda is here. I knew what he wanted but could not resist. He just stood there lost till i took it back gave him a coke.

I've seen people ask for a pop though an get hit.

In the military...

"Go down to the machine shop and get a "machinists punch"." LOL! Guy comes back with a shiner.

I need fifty feet of flight line!

Go to the tailor and ask for 6 inches of gig line (the imaginary line that goes up your pants zipper and through your shirt buttons).

2 gallons of prop wash.

Quote: Interesting.. Here a pop is your father or what your mom did to you for cursing. A sack is made out of cloth unless its the new feed sacks. Glove compartment is the dash pocket. Jockey box is something not family friendly. Your auto is your wreck. An your rig is your 2 way radio equipment.

WHAT!? Banana flavored moon pie!? Never saw it before... :drool
I've been missing out... :hit

A little farm & garden store near us sells soft drinks in the old glass bottles - and they're made with actual cane sugar! So good...

When I was a kid and just, freshly diagnosed as a diabetic, Diet Rite soda was delicious!!! Had a lemony flavor. I think it's long gone, now :( Now there are lots of different Diet Rites but none tastes like the original. Hooray for Splenda :(
