Gosh, where were the El Paso people when I first joined up! lol I just moved from there like 2 months ago!
Shogun, I'm sorry, I think the price is right. From my experience some El Pasoans think everything should be the same price as they were when they were chicks, and then they turn around and sell it for more afterwards! I'm not saying all though!
But yeah, wish I had met more El Paso chicken people! ;-;

The standard price for pullets around here, Seattle, goes from $10-$25 a bird. This guy is getting a darn good deal. Wish I was closer!

So yeah I ended up not selling them to the chisler and instead kept them for awhile. I won't sell them until they begin laying and then will probably unload them for about 15 bucks each. I don't want to see them go, but it is time before I get in trouble and overrun with eggs. I don't need that many eggs so I think in retrospect that I should have just gotten fewer chickens from a company willing to ship me just a few.

On the other hand, when I get my farm in a few years, all bets are off and I'll get as many as I can feed, etc.
