So glad to read your update - my immediate reaction to your original post is that I would not sell to that person. He doesn't know about chickens so first and foremost I would worry about their well being AND secondly, he was being unfair with you.

Ok I will definitely sell you a few. They will begin laying in about a month or two anyways and I'd much rather give them to you and sell them local! I don't think I need 25 chickens in the city ha ha.

Also, I go up to Albuquerque for National Guard once or twice a month. They will probably be big enough to sell AND I'll be going up on the first weekend in December. Does that sound like a good date? Lemme know. THX!
