These are the two in question. They are 12-14wks old. Bigger and more aggressive than the others. Barred rock will challenge you no matter where you are. Buff Orpington is more pushy/curious. All my other girls’ feathers are well organized and plainly hens (rounded) but these two have a mixture and I’m not allowed roosters where I live. Any ideas if I need to change names from Katy to Kenny or Rose to Ross? As you can see their comb and waddles are close in size and maybe a bit darker than my other girls but I don’t know what to expect at 3 mo.
 
Whew. That’s a relief. I thought they looked like a mixed couple of girls (2 barred rock) but we like mutts around here. Extremely sassy though!
 
They both look like pullets. They have small wattles and combs, but those can sometimes trick you. Still, they look like pullets to me. The tail looks like a hen's tail, too. So they are most likely a pullet.
