I just finished my first hatch and it didn't go so well. 28 eggs made it to lockdown, 15 hatched, one died from wrong end pipped and the rest never pipped but were fully formed. My humidity was good, but I did have to play with it a bit during hatching so I'm not sure if that contributed to them not pipping and dying. So I made these improvements to my genesis 1588 to keep from touching that lid. I added tubes to both trays to add/remove water. I fed them through the turner notch. I have a big syringe to use and have now learned a little bit of water at a time is best. I have my new brinsea spot check in the water wiggle. Any other suggestions?
