I was sitting here wondering, after my 4th attempt to get my hair into curlers...why we do it?

I have fairly long hair now, reaches just the top of the small of my back and I'm telling you...it's getting harder and harder for me to do my hair. Usually, I just pull it into a pony-tail and call it good.

I'm debating getting my hair cut, because I KNOW when winter starts, that lovely static electricity is going to love being in my hair. This is the first time I've tried curling it with these self-stick curlers, so I'm hoping I don't burst into tears as I'm taking them out.

This is the hairstyle I'm thinking about getting:

What time do you ladies get up in the morning to do your hair? Do you do it every day? How long does it take?! This is the first time in about a year that I've even attempted doing anything with it at this length.

Seriously though...do you do it every day?!

I have plain straight hair that never does anything. I shower in the morning and let God dry it. My office mates are used to seeing me come in with straggly wet hair.

Same here, 'cept it's usually pulled back in a single plait (braid) or I've twisted the length, pulled it up, doubled it over, and attached with a hair clip to the back of my head.

I have fine (but alot of it), straight hair that won't hold curl plus I get up at 3:30am - to style it would mean getting up earlier....

Sleep trumps hair so, like Buff Hooligans, my hair just does its own thing...Good luck with yours though!!

I have fairly long curly/wavey hair. I do straighten on ocasion but find that it takes to much time to do it. I never blow dry it just makes it frizz. So I throw it in a ponytail most days .

Well that was the worst purchase I have ever made. Those curlers did not curl my hair, ripped and made me tear up.

SO, they're getting taken back and I'm keeping my money for that haircut.

Done curlers before but unless you hair is super short, avoid velcro rollers. I usually pin my hair up and go.

My hair is long, it's in a bun most of the time. Takes too much time to straighten it and it's frizzy if I just let it air dry.

I myself, do not like shoulder length hair cuts. It touching my neck drives me crazy. It either has to be long or very short.

My hair is long and naturally curly. I do use curlers on special occasion to get that really glamorous look of big curls and waves.

I usually pin my hair up in a clip on top of my head everyday as it takes at least an hour to fix it up. I only do that when I am going somewhere nice.
