I have a dozen leghorn hatching eggs booked; and one reason is to get a few white eggs. The other reason you already know. And I said I'd NEVER get a dark egg laying chicken. If you have Dark egg layers and EEs or other blue egg layers you can hatch yourself some olive eggers.

Olive eggs are the eggs everyone loves...lol.
Surprisingly they're not my most favorite egg. But I do already get some.
I'm my case they're nice to identify who's laying them.

The dark and white large fowl eggs are the only ones I don't have. Oh, and gray.

Nope, you cannot imagine how unplanned this was.

This is just a few of what I get...and no, it's completely by accident and luck. I got the first few chickens going..."Really? They lay blue eggs?" And they did...lol!
And then I took in a Cuckoo Marans roo thinking it was a Barred Rock.
And a then a few EEs were added in the mix.

I never thought I'd say I wanted ducks or those silly midget chickens.
I'm rethinking them both.
