Half hatched chick

My chick has been trying to break free from his shell for the last few hours. He’s got 1 foot out and it’s cracked all the way around but it seems like the membrane is stuck together on one end and he’s not able to get the rest of the way out. You can tell he’s so tired and it’s super frustrating do I just keep waiting?

Has he hatched yet? If not I would assist.

The chick is positioned wrong, it should be hatching out with its head towards the fat end of the egg, I'd go ahead and gently pull some of the shell away, look to be sure there are no veins visible
