HALLOWEEN Hatch-a-Long 2016 w/ Hosts, Mike, Sally & BantyChooks

I'm not gonna lie, getting the flashlight designed for candling that has a plug, is the best thing I ever invested in. Seriously. No batteries required. Ever ;o

X2 as long as they're lighter eggs. The one I have isn't very bright so it doesn't work well on dark eggs but the convenience of never needing batteries is wonderful :)

fyi, I love your rooster myth post. I love my rooster. He's awesome. haha. none of our other roosters have been mean either. In fact, I've found our roosters to often be more personable and friendly than our hens at times.

Thanks! I wrote that after hearing someone repeat one of those myths one too many times, lol.

What myth is that? I must have missed it. Would you mind repeating it please?

The one in particular that spurred me to write it was someone telling another member that it was guaranteed that their roosters would become aggressive and attack them when they matured. I had seen that a bunch of times and decided it was time to put that and other myths to bed so I wrote the article :)

According to the tracking info, my Ayam Cemani eggs have been at the post office, available for pickup since 8:30 this morning. No phone call. Last time I tried having them hold it, they were all confused and had no clue what I was talking about when I went down to pick up. Not looking forward to doing this again, but I want my eggs!

Quote: I didnt get a pic yet, I will when I can promise!

they need much lower humidity than the others those big eggs. that humidity may be too low for the serama I run higher in smaller eggs.

I hope you feel better soon sweetie, I know how it feels not to breathe and it sucks. I hope you break out of it quickly

I hope the hens find their way back, what a bummer!
