Babies were officially due to start hatching last night so the family was bummed when the bator wasn't full of fluff this morning. 16 hours into day 17 and first place goes to a golden and very close second to an A&M. 54 more to hope over.

So, our 90 degree weather here in Texas would make you jealous?

It has until monday to hatch, then i'm getting rid of it. LOL

I bid on some geese eggs on ebay, and i'm gonna win them..... *eye twitch* she's got at least 4, maybe 6-8 to send total by next week... so i'm winning it. Of course, they aren't the sebastapols.... but...

I introduced my dog to the baby ducks today. She licked them, then lost interest when I wouldn't let her eat their food.

It has until monday to hatch, then i'm getting rid of it. LOL

Once I have all my flocks established, then I'm done. No more needed, except to replace, or sell chicks to people who want them. ;o

I hear geese eggs are tasty, but I really just want ONE goose, until I get a pair of Sebastopol's and then I'd just sell all their eggs.

Also, did you know I only have 1 hen, out of all my chickens, that is laying me eggs right now?

and, If I could get 10-12 eggs a day, I would so be making my kids eat eggs on a daily basis. I'm good at cooking eggs.. boiling eggs, making egg sandwiches, I have so many ways to cook eggs!

I had to go to Cancun for my brothers wedding.
The best part of the trip was when we got back home and stepping off the plane into the temps we're having right now...lol.
(It was November. Three days after we got home it froze to -25 and got progressively colder. Harsh.)
I'd like 65-70 and heavily overcast 100% of the time...with no precipitation. My paradise.

It seems really bad because we were 75F 4 days ago.

Haven't got the winter gear out yet.

It could be -20 by the time I hatch.

i get 1-3 eggs a day anywhere from the size of a quarter to a normal egg
