I don't think would hurt them, and it's better to go cool than go hot. I'll candle in a couple days and see. Though maybe the bantam eggs would show life now. I set them Sunday morning.
 
Woke up and my 'bator was at 98.4

I don't know how long it was that cool. Hopefully no damage was done and it'll just delay the hatch a bit.

I posted more on my other thread, but here are the two chicks that made it. They are having some leg problems, but I'm working on it. I already gave them vitamins. They sure are pretty babies, but I'm going to have to think long and hard if I want to do this again. I definitely learned some very hard lessons.


My guess is they are doing what I call the paddle walk. Sitting on their bums and walking with feet out front? They will get stronger and do well. I can't tell from these photos..but thinking no splay legs? If not, they will get stronger and be skippin around before you know it. :)
