Yeah, I'm afraid I would want to keep it. We had a single hatchling too.

She's living with a silkie now. The silkie's supposed to be a hen, but I have no idea what sex our little hatchling is. it's daddy was a cochin, and it's mom was either a white cochin, or a gray mottled bantam.
Adorable! Yeah, I am very tempted to keep the little one. Besides, the person can't do the exchange (because of distance) until October 1st. Which gives me a couple weeks to really become attached. lol
Yeah, there's no way I could give it back if I had it for a few weeks like that.

my 5 month old was sitting next to me in her bouncer, and figured out how to pull the tabs on her diaper open..... NO!!!!!
I'm going to have to keep her in a onsie now.
I was trying to work, the kids were doing school work, the toddler was coloring, baby was being quiet, I should have known her being quiet was too good to be true.
