One of my three eggs has just hatched! On day 20....is it okay for me to keep it in the incubator overnight, as it is 10:30pm and I'd really like to go to sleep and not wait for it to fluff out >.<

First one out. An upside down pip that took 30 hours to hatch.

And it's dried and fluffed enough now to see it's a dark red partridge. The mother is silver base color, which means IT'S A GIRL!

Second chick out. This one only took 12 hours. Another girl.

One Barred Rock mix egg starting to zip. Only 25% chance of a sexable chick, since the rooster has a barring gene. 1 more red sexlink egg pipped. And two Easter Egger eggs are pipped.

Day 19 for me today! I wonder, if I will get an early hatch or two. Hope so! Hoping to hear a few cheeps soon! Why is this always just as much fun as the first time?

Oh good, thanks it is a little Araucana x Light sussex, cant tell if it is black or blue yet, I'm betting on blue though...Im so excited my last hatch was a total failure
