Scrubbed out and set up this morning.
Staying old school and going still air & hand turn on this batch. Debating on exact set time. I don't wish to stay up all night on October 31st.
Incubator set at 100.5F and the Tweety Factory Room is holding out at 95F. Eggs are warming up in room temp from out of storage.
The batch from the last couple
days is looking good..
BRING ON THE SPOOKY BATCH...

Eggs are settling, my PO was kind enough to call me on their holiday for me to pick them up. I was supposed to get another batch but my other breeder had a sad event so won’t send out till tomorrow. I to am contemplating set time, 5am most likely. Humidity is sitting right at 43% temp is 99.5. Steady now for 24 hours. Good luck!
Jealous of all you that are firing up the bators... sigh... maybe I'll do some upgrades to console myself.
Yeah me too, but actually there is no one here to stop me from setting. muhaha
omg now you’ve twisted my arm! Back to egg hunting!! Muhahaha
Im so in guys!! Going to be setting 24 silkie eggs(12 with a broody hen and 12 in a bator) This will be my 3rd hatch using the bator, first time with a broody momma hen) . Here goes EVERYTHING! Happy Autumn everyone, although in MD it is still muggy and 80-90 degrees and I'm wishing desperately for hoodie weather.
Welcome, good luck! I want hot muggy weather!
I just stumbled outta bed and set em.. crossed eyed and so not bushy tailed.![]()
