He's pretty Evonne! Am I weird that I really love our roosters? They are noisy and annoying sometimes, but they are such pretty, friendly birds.

I haven't yet. lol I like Evonne's Vamp suggestion, but I haven't made my mind up. Rusty is cute too. Vampirella crosses my mind, but it's too optimistic. I am very good at hatching roosters, you see.

i like my roo.. he's not overly friendly, but so far has been not too bad.. he's tried to get cocky with me a couple times.. and he chased my 4 yr old the other day.. we're trying to teach him how to scare blue, but it's not working out so well.. lol... he gets going and is ready to jump at him then stops about 2 feet away from him and blue just looks at him like he's crazy... he hasn't tried to chase him again since that one day so i'm hoping he learned his lesson... lol.. we'll see...

i'm so excited to see what these babies will look like.. and more so to see what they lay...

I keep reminding myself ... this is day 20. Tomorrow is day 21, give 'em time! When I see 2 pips .... I am thinking, hey what about the others? Ya know, questioning myself, etc. Do you all do that?

My Marans take longer then most...If I put in my Olive eggers the same time same day all of the olive eggers will hatch hours and sometimes a whole day before the first marans pip....

Not sure why think they like to make you wait for them..
