Off topic but I just want to vent...

Okay, maybe I'm not meant to hatch eggs. Every since I started, nothing but bad stuff has happened. My mother-in-law, who has dementia and that we take care of 24-7, went into the hospital. She's been in there over a week now. Doctors haven't come straight out and said it, but implied that her organs are starting to shut down. Poor DH is in denial. Now, we just get a call that a close friend's son was in a car wreck, flipped his car, it caught on fire, and he may not make it thru the night...

I guess I should be thankful I'm hatching these eggs so I don't lose my mind!!!

Okay, I feel better now. Thanks for listening. Back to egg hatching!!

Wow Kim, that's insane. I'm sorry about your MIL, and your friend's son. What a weird freak thing to have happen to him, they almost never catch fire--I'm an EMT and I've been at many a car accident. I'll say a prayer for your families.

Thanks, ya'll. Sometimes it just helps to vent a little.

Okay, went and checked on the eggs. The one little peep is got a hole big enough to stick its whole beak thru. And, it occasionally peeps at me. But, it doesn't look like it's moved much. I hope it's not too big for the shell...

The second egg to pip hasn't done anything. I thought it came all the way thru, but now I'm not sure. Can't really see it that well.

I sure hope that first one is a roo!!!
