Halloween ~ Hatch Day!

I am a nervous wreck...nothing is moving they are very dark...maybe they are moving and I can't see...I don't know...what if nothing hatches??

I thought it was getting easier....not any more 1 more week...

I am and I can still see some veining but its a lot messier looking now HA HA Which is good I suppose since more veins are there...but below that it is very dark. I guess that could be chick huh? It was easier when I could see something!

I am using an LED flashlight and just holding the eggs. I hadn't had a problem seeing anything until now.

I know the feeling, thegoogers.
My 2 Silkie eggs that are due to hatch on Wed. just look like big dark blobs. Either they are so
big that I can't tell if they are moving or not, or something else is going on. lol.
I did see movement in a couple of my eggs due on Halloween.

Oh Ditto the CRAZY!!! Most of them are mostly dark now. Well, it doesn't get any easier does it?

I candled again and took out one more ? And it was a dud, a never went, but the shell had been so dark I hadn't been sure, until all the others went BLACK in there. Okay, this one's a dud. Yep..

I still can't tell on the blue ones. Sigh. Got one turkey. Two more ? barred rocks.

Fine. I'll just go totally NUTS for a week. Most people won't be able to tell the difference.

I can't believe Tuesday the eggs are no longer turned...then...thats it! AHHHHHH...

We use our dining area for a "school room" and other than that, we only eat in here a couple of times a year.

Soooo I pushed the dining room table against the wall, moved the computer down here from our bedroom('cuz I'll have to be in close contact with all of you!), set up the 100 gallon fish tank on the table (our 1st stage brooder) and then the hatching bator.
My command center is ready!

I betcha he'll think I've lost it! I'm just glad I have all of you to share it with

HA HA I want to see pics of your brooder set up!! I still haven't made up my mind on WHAT my brooder will be! I think I am going to go with this small cage....for now...until I have more chicks

or they get bigger...I have a pack and play...
