Well, I can hear one "working" but no Pip yet. This is the one that was peeping at me, but it's not now..
The one with the pip is rockin' and rollin' with no progress that's visable from the outside anyway. It's starting to peep at me now.
.
The others are just sitting there and I hear no pecking in them. Hmmm... Technically tmw is day 28.
I hate this. Well, I love this, but I hate this. I have a love/hate relationship with this part of the process.
Well, two and half hrs. of power outage. I hurried my eggs out to out little suv that I can plug the bator into..and just covered the other eggs that are only out close to a week. When I took the eggs out to the truck that are due to hatch tomorrow, they rolled. At least most of them rolled back up to the x where I started them. The pipped one was up to where the pip is, where as before, it was on the side. Man, if any of these babies make it.......hatch day is tomorrow.

Oh no Cynthia!! I'm sure everything will be fine. That happened to me on day 2. Transformer blew. They will be alright! They are hearty little boogers.
Thanks quack. I just saw the one that is pipped, move the shell, so I know it's alive, plus, it has pipped more egg...whew..at least one I think. If I don't get any more pips from these eggs by tonight, I will be worried, because all of my bantams have at least pipped by day 20. If not pipped at all by late morning tomorrow, I know I will be checking at least one out to see if it is alive.

Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us then. I just candled mine and I don't know what to make of it. But if nothing else I have one. Maybe two.
I just checked..I have two pips! The one that started early this morning, now has it's little beak poking out. Just taking it's time to zip I guess, because it moves it's beak every time I shine the flash light on it. Heaven knows that the humidity has been up enough. Now the wait. Tomorrow, I should have some babies. If one more pipped, there will likely be more.. I hope!
