Halloween/Thanksgiving Hatch-a-Long 2019

That makes sense!! I think they do but they usually get here so faster it doesn’t even have time to be updated :lau

I usually didn’t even check for the tracking info for the chicks, just got a text and email reminder when they shipped and waited for the call from the post office haha

I may have to call them and tell them to hold the eggs??
USPS I don't think deliver eggs to your door, at least where I am they don't. You pick the up at the PO so they're not being bounced around in another delivery truck.

Call your local USPS and find out

:lau can I ship them to you when they're hatched
Sure!

Mine does, but the PO has already killed them, so home delivery doesn’t matter.

I

Already have 15 chicks out, I think. More are coming as the day goes on. Some are in the brooder

Awesome!!!

I’ve heard horror stories of how eggs and even chicks are supposed to be held for pick up, have the sticker saying so and everything, and they still take them out for delivery. So I’m hoping that doesn’t happen haha

Quick! What is in this box?

Three hermit crabs, three boxes. She THREW them to me through her car window, sideways. She would have crammed them into the mailbox if she could.
The last mailman was four hours late delivering mail. He left $400 worth of eggs on the ground by the highway during a hailstorm. The next day, he brought them to the house, frozen. Of course the box was destroyed.
I have nothing but horror stories about USPS, FedEx, and UPS when it comes to living things.
