Halloween/Thanksgiving Hatch-a-Long 2019

I knew I was taking a big risk setting these new layer's eggs.
Man am I hoping I don't get stuck with one baby.

Here's what Ive done in the past when stuck w only one baby or had to separate one for a bit due to injury or whatever. I gave them a little bear and they would sit on thier lap and snuggle and chirp to them lol.

Another one..this baby had a very hard start but turned out to be my darkest laying BCM at the time. (see page 2 in my profile photo Albums under Marans for some of her dark dark eggs)

No, she loved it She didn't want to take it off. My husband did it while I was cooking breakfast to give us a good laugh.

She may be disappointed there's no chicken feed in it though
