Are they your own flocks eggs or mail order? I actually had great success with my mail order bobwhites, ordered 15 eggs, got 18, 15 were fertile, 12 hatched. All still alive at 1 month. Yay!I doubt all 41 will hatch, probably aiming for 20. I'd rather aim low than high
Okay, so I’m very blonde too. But I know why I have to excuse my injuries.
I laughed after I realized I had all my limbs. These chickens make me work for my eggs!
I'm as clumsy as one can be, also not allowed to use knives or saws unless someone else is present, bla bla bla. Here's some of my most recent accidents, ie. box blade, drill, goat horn, & snake bite, excuse the unshaven leg please. Never run through the woods wearing shorts & cowboy boots, just saying... I also twist one of my ankles on a daily basis. I trip, twist & fall, oh well.

Yesterday at my parents the youngest wanted me to cut a box with a box cutter that my father set aside for him. My dad literally grabbed it from meI was like I'm not a child, he was just concerned for my safety I guess. I'm 32 and not even trusted with a box cutter! My son thought it was hilarious and so didn't my husband

My husband took the box blade from me yesterday too! I was just going to cut a hole in a plastic storage tote... now I have a crooked uneven opening to look at forever.Yesterday at my parents the youngest wanted me to cut a box with a box cutter that my father set aside for him. I have 41 eggs from my own flock of chickens. Most were fresh, I did throw in some refrigerated ones once they got to room temperature. Are they your own flocks eggs or mail order? Maybe your success rate will be higher since so many are your own fresh eggs. My coturnix were mail order. I ordered 25, got 30, only had room for 25 in my turner, had to turn the other 5 by hand. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for at least 50%. If you notice I've been using an inexpensive bator.I have 41 eggs from my own flock of chickens. My barred rocks eggs aren't fertile so I'm going to have to pull them in a few days, it's hard to tell her eggs from my Delaware though... That's why I'm waiting so long so I can make sure I don't toss the wrong eggs.
My barred rock is a fiesty one, my roosters probably want nothing to do with her. She's obnoxiously talkative, they probably don't want a nagging baby mama
She even steals the limelight in pictures

I saw that incubator when I ordered mine. I got a 4250 Farm Innovator for only $90, it was on sale randomly on Amazon so I snatched it before it was goneMaybe your success rate will be higher since so many are your own fresh eggs.
