I'm thinking... That one is pipped and making noise. I can see blood vessels or veins still so I'll wait a little longer. The air cell is oddly shaped where the twin is pipped like a triangle.
I did see movement on the other side of the air cell. Maybe she's pushing through (I'm being hopeful ones a pullet)
I'll wait and see what happensI dont assist unless an egg is externally pipped for 24 hours. Thats the 'rule' in the guide to assisting a hatch and its worked pretty well for me. Often they take that long to zip after the pip. If theyre not alive at that point then it wasnt ment to be and if they are alive they generally fare pretty well with all the veins and yolk already absorbed. If one comes out w a yolk sack still hanging out the belly then i put them in a small cup with a paper towel in the bottom for a non slick surface and it usually absorbs and finds its feet within a few hours.
Oh no! I was going to say I'm jealous until I read the whole thingNot kidding, I thought it would take at least a few hours. I also thought it would have some issue. It really is too early.
