Halloween/Thanksgiving Hatch-a-Long 2019

That’s what I figured! Although I was so tempted to get 24 in case some didn’t hatch haha but I think 12 is a good number. Didn’t want to spend a ton of money for my first hatch either. And no I didn’t but that is an excellent idea!! Every single other egg was sold out which is why I got the assortment, though I probably would have chosen it anyway cause it’s more fun, but I didn’t think to look at the available chicks lol

They have this one. :D

I need to keep this in mind! I would love turkeys! I'm getting white broad breasted turkeys in the spring so I can have home raised Thanksgiving turkey. A lot cheaper than buying $75 turkey at the store and a lot more fun!

Mine are stubborn  if my husband stopped talking about eating them, maybe they'd come out :gig
my most recent hatches didn’t even get started until end day 17 or day 18, so i was truly shocked this morning!!! i looked over and noticed the humidity had jumped to 49% so they must’ve just popped all at once......I’m soooo not ready.......winter is imminent here and we’ve got a rough weekend trying to catch up on winterization with :fl we can get everything done in time! this is first year we didn’t get a pumpkin!! :th

I visited Indiana a few years ago, I forgot the exact area. I'll remember eventually. I'm in VA and winter isn't too bad but it can get pretty cold. I made a chicken tractor with a shelter for my meat chicks and we are winterizing the new coop we just built for our layers.
