I use this grippy shelf liner dollar store stuff in my bator and brooder for the first few days.

Me too ever since the buttons you can see it in this pic. I have a good floor for chicks, but a button leg poked right thru it the First hatch of those and this is protocol now. Still pretty quiet in both hatchers but i did hear some peeping so i think there are some internally pipped.

He looked like a BR as a teen. His primary breed though looks kinda like a Welsummer (she is).
