It will happen, it does happen...you have to prepare yourself and learn to deal with it.

Thank you! That makes sense. I’ve been trying to read and learn and read Sally’s hatching 101 article and some of the links/other articles referenced in it and a few other things but there’s sooooo much info and it’s so overwhelming trying to read and learn it all

I’m trying though and I think I understand most of the important stuff but it’s still so hard. I’m trying to keep learning.

Thats all you can do. Dont expect to ever Know Everything. Something always needs a bit of tweaking and ive called my chickens the best brain teaser i ever bought

Its a red sex link hen and a black Jersey roo? Wondering if that could create sex links... maybe not because moms lineage isnt stable she is the result of a cross.

So I sort of stopped watching and came back on today to see everybody's success. Any early hatches?

i woke up to 6 quail babies this morning and after work there were 15+......official hatch day begins in 30 minutes

The twins passed away. I do have 1 chick that's out and lots of zips and external pips.

Thanks everyone for helping me and encouraging me. Both chicks were extremely small
