On our way home... Meet our two Gold Spangled Hamburg chick-chicks Bernadette (back) and Claudette (front)

I wonder why they look so different?

I wondered the same thing when I first got them....I think it's because Claudette is older than Bernadette. The next day, I noticed a significant change in her colors. I'm spending the day with my month-old grandson tomorrow but will try to post more pics when I get back

I have a quick question. Is there a way I can test Finn to make sure he actually is a hamburg? I'm entering him in a show on May 25th, and I was wondering if I should enter him into the mixed breed category, or purebred. On the 27th of this month I am getting him NPIP tested and salmonella tested, can they test his blood too?
