My entry #4:

The name of the afghan pattern is American Spirit. The finished afghan is approximately 52"x68". I used Cherry Red, White and Navy Blue, 4 ply worsted weight yarn and a US size H crochet hook. The afgahn is made with 48 squares using single crochet (sc) puff stitches and color changes. It took about 2 months to complete.

I gave it as a Christmas present to the widow of my husband's shipmate who had died of Covid.

Entry 1 fused glass: My first fused glass project! From my home studio. I don't sell my work, I gift it to friends and family and keep a few pieces for myself. I love when my friends and family come over to create something.

Entry 3 fused glass: I created this for my daughter! I love how it looks like it has movement in the skirt. This is probably one of the most technically challenging pieces I've created. Turned out even better than I envisioned.

I made an ice fishing lure out of my dominique Scooby’s feathers!!!

They are usually made with barred hackle feathers but I don’t have a barred roo so I couldn’t do it.
It was tough to make cause the fishing line doesn’t always want to stay in place. I tried it at the beginning of the year when there was an ice-in. Sadly I didn’t catch anything with it but it was still fun!!
