It's out of the shell. Yolk 100% absorbed and no bleeding, but it was so sticky that I guess it inhaled some of that goo and now it has goo coming out of it's nares. Prognosis is poor, but I'll try my best.

Oh no! Hope they are ok.Let me start with, I love my husband. And, I love that he's a truck driver and is gone for months at a time. He was home this weekend...... My loving man noticed the temp gauge on the bator was reading a bit low and turned it up before bed. I woke up th the eggs at 104°.....ahhhhhhhhh!! We had a nice long talk about bator gauges and my thermometers and how he's NEVER ALLOWED TO TOUCH THE INCUBATOR EVER AGAIN.
So, I'll give the eggs a week and see if any will develop.

Well, I candled the non starters. Two I would say are dead with no internal pip. I left them in in case I'm wrong. The one that has a very small pip is moving lots, and 2 are maybe not pipped internally yet? Trying to stay out of the bator for a while. I got rid of the DIS egg. While I would have liked for every single egg to have hatched, the ones that have so far seem very strong and healthy. So, success.
You should also see the air cell make a draw down, like a major droop. I've found that the DIS ones stay put and just never draw down.

By the way, those were amazing photos of the one tight in the membrane. I've never seen one wrapped that tightly and still be alive. My theory was that shrinkwrapping happens after death, not a cause of it. But your pics may have changed my mind.

Good luck though. I think duck eggs are more tolerant, so hopefully they will be ok.
Too cute!!

What cuties! Love the first pic. My hatch was over on Friday. 1 egg did nothing. I finally opened it yesterday and it looked very similar. Fully formed chick, yolk sac not fully absorbed but more yellowish and it seemed to be in the right position. I hate that because you really don't know why it didn't pip!
